From treating malnourished children in a drought-affected region of Africa through to conduc-ting rounds to survey trauma patients in a large Ministry of Health hospital after a bout of conflict in the area, MSF’s doctors provide life-saving care every day in our projects. Depen-ding on the project, you may be involved in responding to an outbreak of cholera or menin-gitis, treating victims of an armed conflict, or setting up an HIV/AIDS, paediatric or mother and child health treatment programme. As a medical doctor you will also plan, organise and evaluate medical activities in collaboration with the country’s health care staff working at MSF intervention sites. These facilities may include primary health care centres, outpatient consultations or a hospital.
