As a Nursing Manager working for Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) you may be asked to take part in organising a mass vaccination initiative for measles or triaging patients fleeing conflict. You may run a programme to prevent mother-to-child transmission of HIV or operate a feeding centre. Our Nurse Managers mostly head departments in hospitals and health centres, and are at the forefront of providing primary health care in our projects. In a hospital setting, you may be asked to work within different departments, such as paediatrics, internal medicine or the emergency room.
